Are there limitations in the number of revisions I can make?
While design is free there are limitations to the number of designs and revisions that are made. Our graphic designers will make up to three designs. Of these only one can have up to three variations made to it. For example colour options and logo placement. Further designs will be charged at $50 per design while extra variations will be charged at $30 per change.
Can I combine styles?
With our pricing brackets all tops with the same design will add together to give you a total quantity. For example if you were to purchase 25 jerseys, 15 jackets and 15 wind vests the total number of tops would add to 55, putting you into the 50-99 pricing bracket.
Can I create my own design or have my garment designed by a third party?
You are more than welcome to bring a design to Ventou that you have created or has been designed by a third party. Our graphic designers will transfer it as accurately as possible to our templates. If any potential design limitations arise however, the designer will inform you of these issues before starting any design work. For the best results, we suggest downloading the appropriate template in our Design Template section.
Can my design go over seams i.e. from the body of the jersey to the sleeve?
Our design team will try to avoid placing designs across different panels and therefore crossing seams. Because one design is used over the entire size range there are alignment issues when a design crosses from one panel to another. For example an extra large jersey may line up accurately but when the same design is tried on a small jersey alignment issues will arise.
Do Ventou put any signage on their garments?
Ventou places up to three logos on any one design dependant on space availability. Standard positioning for Ventou logos are on the breast, the back pocket and collar. If you wish to have all Ventou logo’s removed from a garment there is an additional $10 charge per garment.
How are the garments finished?
The finish of a garment refers to how the waist, arms and back pocket are finished off. Jerseys can be finished in one of two styles. Elastic is the traditional method of finishing a garment. Binding is a new trend that offers a cleaner look and reduces those marks elastic gives you on your arms while also stopping the jersey ridding up while on the bike
How do I know what sizes to order?
Our cuts and materials have different sizing so it is important that you and you team look at the correct sizing charts before choosing your sizing. Sizing for each garment is located off the main team wear page. Please Note that even if you are a previous Ventou customer please reassess the sizing charts as we are constantly making changes based on feedback from your peers.
How long will the order process take?
Normally production times are 3-4 weeks from sign off of the final approval document. Once the garment is placed into production we will give you an expected delivery date. Our customer service staff will be in contact with you over the course of production and inform you if there are any changes to your expected delivery date.
I want to order a large quantity but not all at the one time?
Our 12 month paper plans work like a lay by system to allow you to purchase garments over a period of time at a cheaper price than putting a number of smaller orders in at a higher price. Please see our pricing catalogue for more details.
Is the pricing cheaper for larger quantities?
Our pricing works on a quantity basis. The larger your order the cheaper your garments will become. There are different pricing brackets at which your pricing will drop.

What are your minimum quantities?
There is a minimum of 10 items per garments style. This means 10 jerseys or 10 vests not 5 jerseys and 5 vests. Cycling caps have a minimum of 100, socks have a minimum of 50 and gloves have a minimum of 35.
What are your payment terms?
Once your garments are approved and ready to go we require a 40% deposit to commence production. Final payment is required prior to delivery. Our accounts team will be in contact with you to organise this prior to your garments completion so we are able to send them out straight away.
What do I need to do to place an order?
Before a design can be commenced there are a number of specifications that must be decided upon. Please read the getting started section of our website.
What format are logos required in?
Logos are required in a Vector image format. Generally these have an extension of .eps or .ai. Please note that logos cannot just be saved into this format. The original vector images are required as they contain the workings of the logo. If you cannot supply us with the vector image of a logo, our design team can recreate the logo for a recreation fee between $25-50 depending on its difficulty.
Will it cost anything to have a design made by Ventou’s design team?
Ventou offer a free design service for its customer’s. We ask that a $500 deposit is made to begin the design process. This amount is then taken off the total amount owed, resulting in free design. All that is required from you is a short brief about your design and our graphic designers will create your garments to your requirements.
